DATA MATRIX Label:
Data Matrix is a two-dimensional barcode consisting of light and dark squares arranged in a rectangular pattern.
A label can store up to 2335 alpha-numeric characters.
The most common Data Matrix application is the identification of an object by means of a small label.
A 3x3mm Data Matrix can store up to 50 characters with only 20% contrast.
Data Matrix technology, thanks to the absolute and relative coding system is practically error-free.
This technology has been adopted as a standard for:
- Electronic Industries Association
- Automotive Industries Association
- Semiconductor Industries Association
Code 128:
High density code 128 has been created in 1981. It allows the printing of a max of 128 ascii characters and it is still used. Most of the main barcode readers are able to read both codes.
